Girls in Motion has always been centered around the promotion of women’s empowerment and body positivity, especially for young girls.

On a community outreach project that brought musical instruction to the Grafton Correctional Institute.

Last semester, I tutored students in grades 6-8.

While I have taken many interesting classes so far, I know it is only a taste of what Oberlin has to offer me.

It took me three years to brave leaving home for winter term. Interning in NYC was a wild ride - read on for a Frank Ocean cameo, an introduction to harm reduction, and lots and lots of FEELINGS.

This is the story of how months of event planning, entrepreneurship education, and trial and error shaped me into a stronger, bolder self.

The Day of Service is a great opportunity to get off campus and into Lorain County, spend a good few hours working hard and making a difference, and meeting other students committing their morning to the good of the community.
