As of this morning, I have been approved for a double major!

For those of you who got here by googling "Oberlin Super Smash major" you're at the right place. Read on.

The joy my German Studies major brings me is as contagious as its colloquial abbreviation sounds.

The only one of Blake's poems that I knew going into this class was "The Tyger." It was, in fact, the first "real" poem I ever learned. I remember standing on my bed, three or four years old, and asking Mom what "fearful symmetry" meant.

Surviving my first add/drop period.

I took a Comparative American Studies class last semester and all I got was this lousy t-shirt. Just kidding, it was pretty neat.

In order to give myself a break from sitting at my computer, paralyzed by my probably needless anxiety, I will write about a simpler time, a time when finals were a distant specter and winter break was eons away - last week.
