Conservatory Orientation

Fall Semester 2023:

Oberlin Conservatory’s orientation program is the opportunity to acquaint new—and even returning students with academic and conservatory requirements, advising, available campus resources, and to increase awareness of the conservatory associate deans and the ways they assist students during their time in Oberlin. Students can make an appointment with an associate dean or come in during walk-in hours, which are held several times per week.

New student orientation is an opportunity for conservatory majors to get important information, and for college students interested in conservatory courses, lessons, and ensembles to discover what’s available. 

If you have not already done so, you must complete your New Student Registration forms accessible via Engage once you complete your depost. Our Orientation schedule and International Pre-Orientation Schedule will include all of the activities planned to help in your transition to Oberlin.
