Pre-Orientation Program for International Students
This year’s International Student Orientation Program begins with international student arrival on September 27, 2021. All new F-1 and J-1 students are expected to attend. Dual-citizens, permanent residents, US citizens living abroad, and other non-F-1 visa holders are welcome to email firstname.lastname@example.org to request to attend. Please see the Orientation schedule for all new students for other programming.

The International Orientation Program provides you with an opportunity to meet new and returning international students. It’s also your best opportunity to learn about visa and employment regulations, cultural and academic adjustment issues, housing and dining, financial aid, and everyday life in Oberlin and the United States.
Residence halls open for new international students on September 27. Please do not arrive on campus prior to September 27 unless you are attending a separate pre-arrival program. The residence halls are not able to accommodate you before that date.
