Issue 5: More Than Accommodations: A Community That Gets You

At Oberlin, we recognize disability as a valued aspect of diversity, and we’re dedicated to fostering a campus environment that’s welcoming, equitable, and inclusive for everyone.

One out of every four Oberlin students is registered with our Office for Disability and Access, or ODA, which provides resources, support, and direct services to students with disabilities—students with a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. 

Getting help in college is a different process than in high school. If you need accommodations or have questions, be sure to connect with ODA by emailing oda@oberlin.edu or calling 440-775-5588. We’ll be happy to guide you through it all!
