By now, you probably have a pretty good sense that Oberlin’s campus wouldn’t be quite what it is without the wonderful community we’re a part of.
Oberlin’s historic downtown, with its charming shops and locally owned restaurants, blends seamlessly with campus and is sure to become a central part of your experience. The city’s series of parks and trails provides welcome new ways to explore life off the beaten path.
The city of Oberlin offers a number of resources and programs that are open to college and conservatory students. Among them: the Oberlin Connector bus, which—for the cost of $1—you can use for trips anywhere in Oberlin and other regional stops every Monday through Friday, and the EV CarShare program, which places electric cars at your disposal for just $9 an hour.
