Chicago, Part II: Days 5-7
We assumed that the men, dressed in breeches and tunics would be doing an improvised version of a well known Shakespeare play, but no.
Days 1-4
We have been staying up late, eating mostly home-cooked food, drinking a little, and seeing a terrific amount of improv in the last four days, and our trip is only about halfway over.
Improv
I get up off of Matt's lap, there's guilt and often a little weird silence, and someone will say "Jesus, what was that?"
An update on my dancing
Once dressed, we put on our coats and boots and headed over to Warner--where the Dance Department is housed--looking very classy indeed. My coat looks really good on top of silk with gold accents; that's all I'm saying.The Beginning of the End
I am still here. Though I entered Oberlin with an expected graduation date of May 2016, my taking a semester off has delayed that until this upcoming semester. This reality took me a long time to accept and I have a lot of feelings about what "not graduating on time" means for me.
