The Oberlin blogs are produced by a team of current students, faculty, and staff who offer a variety of unfiltered perspectives about the Oberlin experience. We encourage you to interact with us as we explore Oberlin and document our adventures.

  • SICK?!

    Karalyn Grimes

Being sick in college is no fun. It's pretty lonely and there's no parental figure to wait on you hand and foot. But I promise, given a few tricks and a really good friend or two, you'll be better in no time. Or just in time for the cool Cat show on Friday.
  • From Quiet Floor to Asia House

    Jules Greene

  • Notes On Add/Drop

    Karalyn Grimes

It's been awhile since I walked you through a day or a week in the life. So let's do that! This is a particularly bustling one as the first weeks back are full of things to do, people to see, and the dreaded Add/Drop.

  • Destigmatizing Abortion through Art and Storytelling

    Kira Findling

I'm so proud of the work SURF is doing here at Oberlin, though, of course, there's always more to do. Hopefully, as we move forward, we'll continue to take risks and bring more awareness to issues of reproductive rights and abortion access in Oberlin, Lorain County, and Ohio!

  • Winter Term, We Meet Again

    Radia Lahlou
