Since freshman year, I've known we have a Pottery Co-op. I've seen the bowls; I've had tea in their mugs. But until now, I've had no idea where it is. (Warning: entry includes pranking photos, ray guns, and violence to bicycles.)

I've been listening to a lot of Jesus Christ Superstar in Spanish.

If you've heard the song "We Will All Go Together When We Go," by Tom Lehrer, it encapsulates the joyful fatalism of finals. This is why we have gender-bending, gravity-smashing swing dances.

I will try and contain my excitement within the post, but I need to note that haven't really stopped grinning for the last few weeks, and I'm just smiling at my computer while I write this. Because Oberlin makes me happy. And so does this poster.

...is finals week and reading period?

Interest piqued? The title is an anagram for something pretty awesome at Oberlin.

Our final for this ExCo was to make our own picture book, the four of us creating a fabulous story. Picture book enclosed for your reading pleasure!

We had what I think was our biggest audience ever, and then we had cake.

One night a semester, the museum is open in the evening, specifically catering to students so they can visit the collection during hours that suit their schedule a little better.

I'm not one of those folks who has some sort of otherworldly emotional or psychic connection to music, but there is something about especially long pieces of music that gets to me.

I'm incredibly clumsy -- when I was a freshman, I actually fell on my face hard enough to give myself a black eye. But regardless, I love to dance. Especially swing dance.

Why is it that the one time of year we're too busy to do anything we are presented with a plethora of incredible performances and events?
