Julia Cronin ’25 has earned a Fulbright study/research award to Denmark, giving her the opportunity to spend the 2025-26 academic year conducting research on ice cores.

Nathaniel Liu ’26 has been awarded an Udall Undergraduate Scholarship, which supports future leaders in the environmental, Tribal public policy, or health care fields.

Walter Thomas-Patterson ’25 has earned a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) to Ecuador for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Noah Elazar ’25, a double major in computer science and politics, is receiving Oberlin’s 2025 Nexial Prize, an honor presented to an outstanding science student with aspirations for interdisciplinary research.

Skye Jalal ’25 has been awarded a 2025 Thomas J. Wat­son Fel­low­ship, a one-year grant that funds pur­pose­ful, inde­pen­dent explo­ration out­side the Unit­ed States.

The third-year Oberlin student will complete his studies as a Goldwater Scholar.

As a recent recipient of the Goldwater Scholarship, the third-year student will continue to work toward educational equity and responsible technology.
