Office of Student Accounts

Health Insurance

Students enrolling at Oberlin and attending classes on campus for the 2023/24 school year will be billed and enrolled in the Oberlin student health insurance. All students are required to have health insurance while attending Oberlin College.

Anthem will be the provider for the 2023/24 policy.

Waiving the health insurance must be done online after the first week of July. The deadline to waive the health insurance is July 31, 2023 for the full year or December 29, 2023 for spring coverage. You will receive a confirmation number when you successfully complete the process. Please review future statements to make sure the adjustment to the charge has been made to the student’s account. International students may not waive the College health insurance.

Cost for the 2023/24 school year is $3,140.  The policy period is August 1, 2023 through July 31, 2024.
