Please note that this is not the place to make a payment towards your term bill. Please visit Student Accounts for information on paying the term bill.

Students, faculty, staff, and parents can make deposits into Obie Dollars accounts online, through the mail, or in person. The Obie Dollars account is automatically set up for every cardholder—you can start making deposits right away. Obie Dollars deposits may be made throughout the year.

For first time users please read the below instructions carefully before beginning the deposit process.

1. When you click the "Begin deposit process" button, the deposit form will open in a new browser tab. You can switch back to this tab to follow these instructions.

2. On the first page, start by clicking the "Make on Obie Dollars Deposit" link, underneath the login form that asks for a username and password.

3. Enter the cardholder's first and last name and their T-Number, exactly as it appears on their Oberlin ID card. The cardholder is the person who is receiving the Obie Dollars deposit, not the name on the credit card.

4. Follow the prompts to enter the credit card information. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover only. We cannot accept American Express cards.

5. On the confirmation page, make sure you click the final "Make Deposit" button at the bottom right to complete the deposit process.

6. Immediately after making a deposit You may check the new Obie Dollars balance on the Manage Your Card page. If you are a parent or other guest, you can create a guest account on that page to view your student's balance and transaction history.

7. Click the button below once you have read the above instructions.

To add funds to your Obie Dollars account, you may choose from the following options:

CREDIT CARD only

Deposits are charged to a credit card. A $3.80 fee will be charged each time you make a deposit online. Students, faculty, and staff may deposit onto their own cards, or parents may make a guest deposit onto their student's card.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover only.

When making a guest deposit, you must know the cardholder's T-Number. Guest deposits are anonymous, so it is recommended that you notify the recipient.
