Wireless Network
For a secure connection, use the eduroam Wi-Fi network. The first time you connect, you’ll need to enter your ObieID and password and accept a security certificate.

Wired Network
Most office locations have active wired network ports. Residence hall rooms have wired network ports but these ports are not active by default.
To request that a network port be activated in any location, open a service request using the CIT Tech Support Portal.
VPN
VPN stands for Virtual Private Network. A VPN is a secure internet connection using encryption and tunneling protocols to create a safe connection, or tunnel, to a private network.
