I'm so proud of the work SURF is doing here at Oberlin, though, of course, there's always more to do. Hopefully, as we move forward, we'll continue to take risks and bring more awareness to issues of reproductive rights and abortion access in Oberlin, Lorain County, and Ohio!

This January, along with 6 other Oberlin students and 2 professors, I travelled to France for the sake of creating a documentary on French wine and wine making. Knowing nothing about wine or film made for an interesting, enriching and unbelievably fun experience.

My on-campus intensive practice winter term project was just what I needed as a music performance major. It was nice to have so much time to devote solely to piano practice; other music schools and conservatories don't have this opportunity.

Part 2 of my productivity reflection for Winter Term.

I've spent the last three weeks in California traveling down the coast and then back up again. My project has been creating a chapbook of poetry. Suffice it to say, this has been the most incredible Winter Term.

Finals are really tough. This is how I got through them.

December 18th being the day I came home. My feelings on winter term, David Bowie, and turning 20.

I've only attempted this daring stunt once before, and that quickly faded into obscurity. Before I started working on this story, the longest piece I had ever written for the screen was a teleplay of 40 pages or so. In comparison, feature-lengths are at least 90 pages, give or take, so I knew this project would keep me busy during my birthday month.

Winter Term is what you make it! For me, it's all about going out into the world and taking risks - and I love it.
