Academic Calendar
Oberlin’s academic calendar includes deadlines for academic record changes throughout the semester. The calendar is approved by the faculty and enforced by the Office of the Registrar.
All students, no matter their status, must observe the deadlines posted in the calendar.

Note: On a trial basis, the General Faculty approved changing the start of the Thanksgiving Break to the Wednesday before Thanksgiving for Fall 2025, Fall 2026, and Fall 2027.
Any student who anticipates difficulty in meeting a prescribed deadline should contact the Office of the Registrar before the deadline passes to arrange for an extension or an appeal.
