Tanisha Shende is a third-year student majoring in computer science and mathematics with a minor in sociology and an integrative concentration in data science. She is an Ashby Business Scholar and a Peer Career Advisor for the Business, Consulting, and Finance career community. Last year, she was named the 2024 National Student Employee of the Year and the 2024 National Student Employee of the Year for Diversity and Inclusion.

Take the opportunity to visit the Mary Church Terrell Main Library and get to know their knowledgeable staff! Elizabeth Sullivan, Head of Research and Instruction, is available to guide you in mastering essential computer systems for financial data, news, trading tools, and research analytics, including Bloomberg Terminals and Factiva. Her expertise will help you acclimate to these tools, navigate them effectively, and leverage them to succeed in your coursework and beyond.
