Sorry for my hiatus from the Obieblogosphere, but I'm in Jerusalem, working at an internship and enjoying the Middle East. But Oberlin is never too far from my mind. Here's a quick update.

The Oberlin Conservatory attracts a number of world-class musicians, but its presence on campus is also a major draw for college students who wish to continue studying music without committing to a pre-professional program.

In case you didn't catch it, Oberlin College was on the front page of the New York Times yesterday. It's a good story, but in my opinion, it's lacking.
