I always thought Earth Day was a bunch of baloney. But this year, with the inspiration of my fellow student environmentalists, we're planning to make Oberlin's Earth Week one to remember.

I pointed out that no one in CSA is going to go out there and start any sort of dance-off, but that bit of sanity seemed to fall on deaf ears.

One choice--to visit a college--can be the first step on that much-talked-of journey of a thousand miles. No, I'm not referring to the famous Confucius quote, actually--I'm thinking of The Lord of the Rings . Although Oberlin is a lot more fun than Mount Doom.
