I am very far from home.

I did not necessarily choose Oberlin, but rather Oberlin chose me.

Very recently, I have been taking strides to make more friends, not acquaintances.

I’ve only been here a month, and I already know it’s the best decision I’ve ever made.

I happen to have a doppelgänger. Her name is Rosa, she is 17, and we share 50 percent of our DNA. Last weekend, she came to Oberlin. That’s right, my (taller) younger sister visited me to see my big girl college life.

The first month of my second year of college has been full of many new and exciting things.

Homecoming weekend at Oberlin is one of my favorite times of the year.

Art rental is a treasured Oberlin tradition.

I only have one shot left at playing this beautiful game.

Fun drives growth.
