OSURF Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for OSURF, you must meet all of the following eligibility criteria:

  1. Current Oberlin College students enrolled during the 2021-22 academic year
  2. Able to undertake full-time research and programming on campus June 13 to August 5, 2022 
  3. No other major commitments between June 13 through August 5, 2022 (e.g. classes, other employment, etc.)
  4. Good academic standing and a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher
  5. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and welcoming community of student researchers
  6. There is no citizenship requirement for OSURF and undocumented students and international students are encouraged to apply.
