Fellows receive one summer of support, mentoring, and funding for student research including:
- A stipend of $4,500 (before taxes) per summer
- On-campus housing is available at a flat rate for the duration of OSRI; funding is available based on financial need
- Mentoring from an Oberlin College or Conservatory faculty member
- Programming through Oberlin Summer Research Institute (OSRI) to promote research skills and personal/professional development
- Community building activities
Fellows are required to be in residence in Oberlin for the duration of the program to participate in OSURF workshops and activities and the Oberlin Summer Research Institute (OSRI).
