Undergraduate Research
OCRF Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the Oberlin College Research Fellowship, you must meet all the following criteria:
- Non-graduating Oberlin College student who was enrolled during the 2023-24 academic year
- Able to undertake full-time research and programming June 3rd - July 26th, 2024
- No other major commitments between June 3rd - July 26th (e.g. classes, other employment, etc.)
- Good academic standing
- Have not previously participated in two summers of OCRF Research
- Identification with one or more of the following:
- First-generation college student (no parent or guardian has ever been awarded a Bachelor's Degree)
- Low-income (Pell Grant eligible or the equivalent)
- Person of color (i.e., Black, Latinx, Indigineous, Pacific Islander, Asian, or Middle Eastern)
There is no citizenship requirement for OCRF, and undocumented students are encouraged to apply.
