Fellows receive one summer of support, mentoring, and funding for student research including:
- A stipend of $4,500 (before taxes) per summer
- An additional $350 per summer for research supplies or travel
- On-campus housing is available at a flat rate for the duration of OSRI; funding is available based on financial need
- Mentoring from an Oberlin College or Conservatory faculty member
- Professional-development workshops and activities
- Participation in the annual Oberlin College Undergraduate Research Symposium
Fellows will also have the ability to reapply for a second summer.
Fellows are required to be in residence in Oberlin during the research experience to participate in OCRF workshops and activities and the Oberlin Summer Research Institute (OSRI).
