Oberlin College benefits-eligible employees have the option to enroll in a Voluntary Dental plan with Superior Dental Care. Deductions are process through payroll on a pre-tax basis.
Three plan options are available to choose from depending on the level of care needed for you and your qualified dependents.
Superior Dental Care (SDC) administers our three plans under SDC PPO (Preferred Provider Organization). SDC’s network offers over half a million access points throughout the United States! Find a Participating Dentist

Beginning January 1, 2024, the maximum dependent age limit for dental will be 26.

For specific plan coverage, select one of three plan options:
To participate employees must enroll within 31 days from the date of hire (DOH) or during our annual Open Enrollment period each October. Changes made during open enrollment will take effect January 1st of the next calendar year.
You may also change or cancel your enrollment within 31 days of a qualifying event, such as, loss of coverage, marriage, birth/adoption, divorce, legal separation or death.
