Student research builds a particular area of expertise while also cultivating highly-valued skills such as effective communication, collaboration and project management. Each year our office convenes poster sessions and symposia for students to  present their findings to their peers. We also help to fund student travel to professional conferences and facilitate the publication of outstanding work in professional journals. Our graduates build on their research experiences to launch impactful careers in public service, industry, academia, and the arts.

Your undergraduate research experience can play a critical role in a successful fellowship application. Learn more about Oberlin’s Fellowships and Awards office.
