Career Exploration and Development
Internship+ Application & Expectations Guide
Before You Apply:
Students must have a few items completed before the funding application can be reviewed for completeness and sent for approval review.
This Interest Form helps Career Exploration and Development (CED) determine your eligibility and communicate about the Internship+ program and its expectations with students (before the funding application opens in January 2026).
Students must schedule an appointment through Handshake to meet with a career advisor and refine their resume before their Internship+ Funding application can be processed by the review committee.
NOTE: FOR CONSERVATORY STUDENTS TAKING LEAD 375 OR PROF 200 YOU DO NOT NEED TO COMPLETE THIS STEP.
You are encouraged to join groups on OberLink to connect with alumni, peers, and career advisors who can support your journey. It’s also your go-to hub for events, resources, mentorship, and exploring career paths..
You are required to complete two (2) Career Conversations (except Conservatory students taking LEAD 375 or PROF 200). These conversations do not need to be completed before you apply. However, you will upload documentation of them in your digital ePortfolio as part of your end-of-experience assignments.
