Regional Coordinators
Regional Coordinators are alumni volunteers who work with alumni in their area to promote Oberlin College and fellowship among alumni by sponsoring events of interest to the college and the alumni in that region. Are you interested in getting involved?
The Oberlin Alumni Association wants to encourage even more alumni to host events or plan activities that might interest fellow alumni in your area. The Office of Alumni Engagement will support individuals interested in hosting an event outside of a traditional “club” model. This will enable more alumni to volunteer to host one event—or multiple events over the course of a year—without the need to officially start and maintain a club.
If you have an idea for a low-cost activity, such as a meet-up, potluck picnic, or professional panel event we would be happy to work with you to create the event. Our office can provide support for events in many ways, including: supporting event planning efforts, sending announcements and notifications, collecting registrations and providing name tags and day of event materials.
If you would like to discuss your event idea in more detail, please contact alumni@oberlin.edu.
