The Alumni Travel Program is back! Join us again for unforgettable travel experiences beginning fall 2026.

Welcome to Oberlin’s alumni travel program, Obie Travels, where we bring Obies together to explore amazing destinations. Each trip is crafted to encompass unforgettable experiences with meaningful cultural insight. You will embark with a group of fellow Oberlin alumni who share your sense of discovery, love of learning, and travel.

Cruise Spain, Portugal, and Morocco 

October 16-25, 2026

Embark on a one-of-a-kind, eight-night cruise from Barcelona to Lisbon aboard a deluxe, exclusively chartered small ship, stopping to visit seven spectacular cities! Encounter Mediterranean Valencia, Moorish Granada and Tangier’s exotic Moroccan markets.

  • Will Oberlin faculty members host or attend trips? 

    The first two trips in fall of 2026 and spring of 2027 will not feature Oberlin faculty as hosts or guest speakers, but we look forward to incorporating their involvement in future trips.   

  • Is the trip open to people beyond Oberlin alumni? 

    Yes! Friends and family of Oberlin alumni are welcome to join.

  • Is trip cancellation insurance recommended? 

    We strongly encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance. You can purchase directly with Gohagan when you make a reservation for one of our trips, or use your own insurance.

  • What happens if I need to cancel my trip?

  • Are there any discounts available?
