Now 45 years into his Oberlin career, director of facilities stewardship garners widespread praise for his tireless dedication to the campus and community.

This year, four students were recognized for their works.  

Senior Eli Presberg was recognized with an award for a presentation of the students’ research in the Africatown, Alabama, community.

Three students from the Class of 2023 were honored with scholarships from the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation and Oberlin College.

Ryan Gleeson ’19 and Andrew Sugarman ’19, founders of PWR Technology, won first place in the Northeast Ohio Regional LaunchTown competition.

Faculty and staff with at least 25 years of service, along with the recipient of the YB Staff Award, were recognized at the Continuous Service Awards dinner.

Oberlin’s poetry slam team placed 11th out of 60 teams at the largest college-level poetry slam in the world.

The Oberlin team bested 13 other schools to garner the first place honor.
