50th Reunion Giving

Celebrate 50 Years and Leave a Lasting Legacy

Your 50th Reunion is more than a milestone—it’s a moment to celebrate where your Oberlin journey began, to reconnect with lifelong friends, and to reflect on how Oberlin has shaped your life and helped launch a lifetime of purpose.

Your 50th reunion gift honors this legacy and helps ensure that Oberlin continues to inspire generations of students to think critically, act boldly, and make a difference in the world.

Make Your 50th Reunion Gift Today!

50th Reunion Giving Goal and Purpose

Each year, the 50th Reunion Committee sets an ambitious and meaningful goal for the 50th Reunion class to achieve. All gifts made during a five-year counting period ending on June 30 of your 50th Reunion year count toward this goal and help the collective fundraising efforts of your class.

50th Reunion giving totals include a combination of future gifts (such as bequests, planned gifts, or trusts) and current gifts that have an immediate impact. Both can be designated for a specific purpose or made without restriction to provide Oberlin with the flexibility to meet emerging needs.

Every 50th Reunion Gift Counts!

Your generosity helps Oberlin remain a place where passion meets purpose. All forms of gifts, including those below, count toward your class giving goal.

  • Planned gifts (such as qualified charitable distributions, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, and donor advised funds) that can provide you with tax and income benefits while supporting Oberlin's future
  • Will or trust provisions that leave a lasting legacy in your estate plans
  • Outright gifts of cash, securities, or other assets
  • Multi-year pledges that allow you to make a larger impact over time
  • Gifts to the Annual Fund that make an immediate impact
