Bonner Center for Service and Learning (BSCL) staff helps students link community involvement with other aspects of their Oberlin experience and works with students across majors and career interests.
Students can participate in BCSL-sponsored programs or find one-time and ongoing projects identified by community partners on serve.oberlin.edu . Students are encouraged to visit the Community Service Resource Center, and walk-ins are always welcome.
Faculty who are interested in integrating community-based learning into their classes should contact Tania Boster, director of Bonner Center curricular initiative. Information about some of the center’s community partners is available on the serve website.
Community partners are invited to post events and needs on serve.oberlin.edu . BCSL staff are available to discuss opportunities to connect with Oberlin College students, faculty, and staff.
