Welcome to the Oberlin Club of Metropolitan New York!

The Oberlin Club of Metropolitan New York is our largest alumni club. The Club’s enthusiastic alumni have demonstrated a commitment to Oberlin College and the mission of the Alumni Association. With numerous alumni living in Brooklyn and around Manhattan, they all look to the Club for networking opportunities and social engagement. Recent events include panels, happy hours, theatre performances and concerts, the annual summer picnic, and community service projects. If you will be visiting NYC and want to participate in our events, please e-mail us at alumni@oberlin.edu  to be included in the event e-invites.

We are now an officially chartered club  with a leadership committee .

Can You Host a Winter Term Student?

One of the greatest challenges for students pursuing winter term internships is securing housing. It can be very difficult and expensive to find a place to live for one month, especially in large urban areas like New York CitySan Francisco, and Washington, D.C. If you are able to host an Oberlin student, please contact the Career Center at internships@oberlin.edu .

Get Involved

Get involved in your local club! New volunteers are always a welcome addition. Contact your Regional Coordinator below to get involved or share your ideas. Please see the Alumni Events Calendar  to check on upcoming Oberlin events, including athletics, academic, and alumni, in this area.
