Academic Advising Resource Center

Advising Guides by Major

These guides are intended for students to learn more about areas of study, possible courses to take for general interest, and where to begin if considering a major.

The advising guides, in conjunction with the catalog, are a starting point for academic exploration and contain guidance provided by our faculty members. The four-year sample plans typically display one of many ways to complete the major. Study Away opportunities are available within each area of study. The Center for Engaged Liberal Arts provides guidance for students on ways to enrich their academic majors by extending learning beyond the classroom through study away, internships, undergraduate research, and opportunities to work alongside community partners in a variety of contexts.

In addition to the majors and courses listed in the guides, students may also wish to consider LEAD and Learning Lab courses or explore an integrative concentration
