A guest presentation led by Taylor Ho Bynum in The Birenbaum. Pizza lunch will be provided.

Taylor Ho Bynum is a musician, teacher, and writer, with a background including work in composition, performance, interdisciplinary collaboration, production, organizing, and advocacy. In this presentation, he will share examples of his work and artistic practice, including open notation structures for improvisers and his experience writing for Oberlin high school musicians in the New Sound Lab. Bynum’s visit is supported by the Kerr Fund and the Gletherow-Young-Deppman award.
