Political Statement: From Sketch to Symbol (Artist Talk with Victoria Lomasko)

From sketchbook pages to monumental murals and panels: talk by Victoria Lomasko, a prominent Berlin-based Russian artist in exile focuses on the evolving role of an artist in an ever-changing world. Documenting real-world struggles with a pencil in hand, participating in historical events, and then transforming the knowledge gathered into symbols of one’s time: this is how an artist becomes a visionary who translates complex global processes into a universal symbolic language.
