Biography

Prior to joining Oberlin as Winter Term Director in September 2019, Deanna held administrative roles at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, Columbia University, and Johns Hopkins University. In addition to her history in higher education administration, Deanna brings professional experience in theatre and modern dance, the fitness industry, consumer marketing, public health research, and nonprofit community engagement to her work in supporting students as they immerse themselves in transformative Winter Term projects.
