Experiential Learning at Sea
Founded in 1971, Sea Education Association (SEA) is a nonprofit organization that takes students on a maritime research vessel sailing from New Zealand to Tahiti. The Oberlin students aboard made lifelong bonds.
Filming Wine in France
A group of Obies traveled to France during Winter Term to interview winemakers and scientists as part of a documentary about wine in Alsace, Burgundy, and the Rhône Valley.
Asia and the Environment
With a grant from the Henry Luce Foundation, Oberlin faculty and students partnered with Lingnan University and The Education University of Hong Kong (EUHK) for a Winter Term project focused on Asia and the environment.
From the Classroom to the World
At Oberlin we value international perspectives and experiences. Every year more than three hundred students study abroad for a summer, semester, or full year.
