David Gutherz

Biography

David Gutherz received his BA from Oberlin College and his MA and PHD from the University of Chicago Committee on Social Thought.

Gutherz works at the intersection of political theory and intellectual history, with a special emphasis on Fascism and its legacies. His dissertation dealt with struggles over epistemic injustice in Cold War Italy and he is currently working on a project about brainwashing. Gutherz has also edited, written, and reported radio stories for NPR and Jacobin.
