Student Leadership

At every level, CLEAR fosters student leadership within Oberlin's STEM community. CLEAR mentors support students in gateway STEM courses. CLEAR Coordinators help to train CLEAR mentors and provide support and mentorship to students responsible for tasks such as leading study sessions, facilitating group discussions, and offering Supplemental Instruction on course content. Beyond this curricular leadership, in partnership with Oberlin Undergraduate Research, CLEAR also supports BRANCHES community leaders. BRANCHES (Bridging Resources and Access to Nurture Community through Holistic Engagement in STEM) is a program that supports students dedicated to co-curricular and community-building initiatives in STEM.
