Yuhki Ueda ’24

Hi, my name is Yuhki! I'm a double-degree fifth-year majoring in Piano Performance and Psychology. 

In my free time, I like to express myself creatively, whether through cooking and baking, crocheting, composing music, photography, or writing (song lyrics, poems... you name it!), just to name a few things. I am perpetually fascinated by the workings of the human mind and human behavior, and I am constantly striving to understand myself and others better. 

Apart from the U.S., I’ve lived in Thailand, Bangladesh, and the Philippines, so I have never had just one home. Now that I’m in college, I have added Oberlin to the growing list of “homes” I have acquired throughout my life. As a prospective student, I remember how much I appreciated having access to the blogs and being able to read about a variety of perspectives and experiences and develop a better sense of what it might be like to be an Obie. Now, I hope to return the favor by sharing some of my own perspectives and experiences with you!
