Hanna A. ’26

Hello! My name is Hanna and I’m a senior from Carlisle, Pennsylvania. I’m majoring in Comparative Literature with a focus in translation studies, French, and Arabic. Outside of curricular activities I’ve been trying to fit my other interests in on the sides—art history, journalism, the environment. I’ve had the opportunity to work for the Oberlin Review, the Grape, Wilder Voice, and Carrion Magazine. I’ve also been a gallery guide at the Allen Memorial Art Museum, catalogued books at Oberlin’s Frank Lloyd Wright House, and been involved with tree planting, watering, and grant writing with the Western Land Conservancy.

Going into this semester I’m newly back from a semester abroad in Rabat, Morocco, where I studied French and Arabic and interned with Morocco World News!

On campus I love walking, running, and biking on the rail-to-trail and finding time to sit and look at the clouds.

Off campus I’ve been section hiking the PA part of the Appalachian Trail and finding time to look at the clouds accompanied by my family’s three cats.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Choices, choices, choices

Can't live with them, can't live without them. (Why I'm glad I'm at Oberlin and you might be too?)
