10 Violinists Remain in the 2017 Cooper Competition Field

Action resumes Tuesday, July 18, in Oberlin's Warner Concert Hall; join us on campus or stream it live.
After three days of riveting Semifinal Round performances by 23 outstanding young violinists, the 2017 Cooper Competition field has been reduced to 10 in advance of the Concerto Round.
The remaining artists and their Tuesday, July 18, performance times are as follows:

Immediately following the evening session, jurors will determine the six performers who will advance to Wednesday's Recital Finals.
The competition culminates in the Concerto Finals on Friday, July 21, at Cleveland's Severance Hall. There, three finalists will perform complete concertos with The Cleveland Orchestra, with the winner taking home a prize of $20,000. Tickets to the Concerto Finals are $15 and $25, with free tickets available for students under 18 accompanied by a paying adult.
