Roxie (she/her) is a fourth-year student from Brooklyn, NY. A Psychology major with a Sport Studies and Management concentration and East Asian Studies minor, her academic interests span far and wide. Outside of working as a tour guide and now senior fellow in the Office of Admissions, Roxie is a scholar-athlete on the softball team, a peer tutor, a staff writer for Oberlin athletics, and a researcher in social psychology. Her research with Professor Rebecca Totton focuses on perceptions of fairness and competitiveness of transgender athletes in collegiate sports.

When she’s not in the classroom or on the field, you can find Roxie in her hammock in Tappan Square, sitting with friends in Wilder Bowl, or enjoying a treat at Blue Rooster. After a summer internship writing for Just Baseball Media’s professional softball page, Roxie hopes to work in professional sports in communications or strategy and development.
