Rhys
Rhys (he/him) is a fourth year student from Fairfax, VA. He is pursuing a double major in Comparative American Studies and Religion with a concentration in Identity & Diversity. Often concentrating on how his majors’ topics intersect with a wide variety of media, Rhys focuses research on children’s media including film, video games, and toy products. Rhys began working at Admission as an Admissions Ambassador his first year, a Campus Visit Assistant sophomore and junior years, and now as a Senior Fellow.
Around campus, Rhys enjoys eating outside amidst the Oberlin greenery and exploring the surrounding Oberlin area including spending time in Elyria, Sheffield, Westlake, and Cleveland. In his free time, Rhys likes to knit, watch movies, and talk about American history. After Oberlin, Rhys hopes to pursue a career that integrates communications, administration, and logistics.
