Chess Club Prepares for 2015 Championships

The Oberlin College Chess Club, a small community of chess-playing enthusiasts, meets weekly in the Rathskeller for players hone to their skills. Club members will test their chess know-how December 27-30 when they host the 2015 Pan American Intercollegiate Team Chess Championship in Cleveland, Ohio. The club won the championship’s National Small School Division title in 2013 and also in 2014, when it tied for the prize with Carleton College. Learn more about the club on the News Center.
