Oberlin College’s trespass policy has come under scrutiny in recent months. College administrators have been listening to and meeting with members of One Town and the community. “Clearly we have some work to do on this issue, and I want to make progress sooner rather than later,” says Dean Eric Estes.

Oberlinians often commit acts of kindness and altruism that go unnoticed.

Oberlin College is partnering with Enterprise Rent-A-Car to offer car sharing through WeCar by Enterprise for students, faculty, staff, and members of the community.

Associate Professor of Religion Joyce Babyak has been appointed interim dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, while Associate Dean Andrea Kalyn will serve as interim dean of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music.

Six faculty members have received Oberlin’s 2012-13 Excellence in Teaching award. Oberlin OnCampus asked them to comment on what winning the award means to them and summarize their research and teaching interests.

The 37th Cleveland International Film Festival will head to Oberlin for an Evening at the Apollo Theatre on Wednesday, April 10.

Oberlin is on spring break through March 31.

David H. Stull ’89, dean of the Conservatory of Music, will assume the presidency of the San Francisco Conservatory on July 1, 2013.
