Biography
Rooted in my own liberal arts experience, I deeply value the close-knit campus community, the local town connections, and the sense of purpose that grows from learning in an environment where ideas are meant to be explored fully and freely. That’s exactly what drew me to Oberlin. From the greenery to the local shops and the campus’s vibrant energy, Oberlin feels like home!
I earned a bachelor’s degree in Africana and Hispanic studies at Hamilton College where I discovered the beauty of interdisciplinary thinking and the power of community-driven education. I later earned a master’s degree in educational studies, with a focus on higher education, at Tufts University. In admissions, I’m especially excited to support students as they explore the possibilities of a liberal arts path because I know how transformational it can be to their journey.
As a Posse alum, being part of the Oberlin community, alongside so many passionate, creative, and justice-minded students, feels both familiar and inspiring. I love helping students see how their stories and goals align with what makes Oberlin so special.
When I’m not reading applications or visiting high schools and community-based organizations, you’ll probably find me in the kitchen testing out a new cookie recipe, watering my houseplants while chatting with them like an old friend (yes, they all have names), or getting lost in the shelves of a cozy local bookstore searching for my next great read.
