Biography
When I was an undergraduate student, I worked as a tour guide for my college campus. During this time, I realized how much I enjoyed connecting with prospective students and their families and helping them find the college that was the right fit for them.
Following graduation, I worked in marketing and communications; however, I found myself missing the work I was doing in admissions. I connected with a friend from undergrad, who encouraged me to continue with admissions work as a counselor and further my education. Sure enough, this was the path I took, and I ended up loving higher education work so much that I earned my master’s degree with a focus in leadership in higher education.
As an Ohio native, I have always known about Oberlin College for its strong music program and its progressive history. I am so excited to be a part of this institution and help future Obies learn more about what our college and town have to offer! I also love that I get to share with others the importance and relevance of a liberal arts education.
In my spare time, you can find me taking walks in Cleveland’s parks or crocheting. (One of my favorite yarn stores, For Ewe, is right here in Oberlin.)
