Biography

Kristin is the Program Manager for Parent and Alumni Engagement working closely with the Employer Relations team of Career Exploration and Development. In this role, she facilitates the logistics of the internship programming process while supporting the team’s goal of cultivating relationships to expand partnerships, internships and employment opportunities for Oberlin students and alumni. 

Prior to Oberlin, Kristin spent fifteen years in program management for various senior living communities and in-home care services specializing in the area of dementia care. Her passion has been to educate and support families, residents and care professionals while advocating for Residents’ rights. Additionally, Kristin’s role provided an opportunity to work in tandem, as an executive assistant for the Middleburg Heights Chamber of Commerce assisting the executive director building business relationships and events planning in the community. Beyond healthcare, her world expanded into workforce development where she developed a love of data organization and logistics working within multiple databases, counseling jobseekers and processing employer job orders. 

When not at work, Kristin enjoys DIY home projects, gardening, cooking, spending time with family, boating, fishing, and nature photography. As an avid crystal and rock collector, she also enjoys rockhounding while frequenting Lake Erie and the Metroparks with her pup, King.
