Kayla Hebebrand

Biography

Kayla Hebebrand joined Oberlin College in 2025 as a Student Success Coach. Prior to her transition into higher education, she was a licensed professional counselor with nearly three years of clinical experience. This background enables her to take a holistic, student-centered approach to support, helping students thrive academically, personally, and professionally.

In her role, Kayla views coaching as a collaborative process, empowering students to define and pursue their own vision of success. She is dedicated to fostering a nurturing, non-judgmental environment where students can celebrate their strengths and gain the tools they need to excel during their time at Oberlin and beyond.
